Capitalism, modernity, and coloniality have worked to erode community. The loss of community involves the loss of home, loss of love, loss of nature, loss of time, loss of creativity, and loss of connection. We are losing everything that makes us human. Only LOVE and practices of CARE will keep us together. These works remind us of the importance of holding each other close, of offering kindness, and of recognizing each other’s humanity. Practice compassion. Create space for others. Offer help. Find rest for yourselves. Show love. This is the only way forward.
