Even after destruction or crisis, there is always a chance to rebuild with more care, creativity, and community. Interfaith Rise, coLAB Arts, and the New Brunswick Free Public Library exemplify how we can rebuild towards new futures. The future is not just something that we wait for. It is something that we can design and build together, especially when we work outside of capitalist systems. These organizations model for us ways of thinking about what we do next, and how we do it. It is not just about fixing what is broken. It is about building something better from the fragments we have been given.
